1960 RCA RP-212

[Hi-Fi-Mogul]

From a 3 tube portable stereo SES-4JE.

The RP-212 has slight changes in the cycling mech
that warrant paying attention and taking the usual photos
as you dis-assemble.

The rubber gum motor mounts had melted and melded
in their mount holes.
Took a lot of time to clean that gunk off.

Motor refurb is completed and new mounts in.
New control linkage grommets installed.

The original proprietary RCA wide stereo cart has
output when audio leads attached for a test.
Let's hope it will function when a new stylus arrives !

After more cleaning and lube, I hope it functions as "new".
