I may have mentioned this before. I have a collection of Dean Martin's roasts and was playing one today while I tinkered with a TV. These couldn't be aired today, but I was snickering like a sixth grader looking at the National Geographic. Comedy talent like that doesn't exist today. I won't link any due to some of the content being sensitive by current standards......
The Rev. Billy Graham, AZ Sen. Barry Goldwater, astronaut Buzz Aldrin, Howard Cosell, Ronald Reagan, people you wouldn't consider to be comedians were amazingly witty. The one I watched today was dated 1973. Nearly everyone on those videos is gone now....
Life can be tough. It can be even tougher if you're stupid.....
