Navagating Troubles
Navagating Troubles
About April my satellite navigation system in the Explorer stopped working, displaying a "no GPS" icon in the corner of the map screen. by June, it had not restored, so I chalked it up to Ford no longer supporting sync systems in the vehicle. I ordered a new radio/nav head unit from Crutchfield. It has been so hot this summer I had to keep putting off the changeout. I had to take my sister to the doctor 2 weeks ago and had to wait in the car. I turned on the navigation system to kill a few moments and found my location was spot on and the "no GPS" icon was absent. I now have 2 radios for the Explorer. The only downside is that I can't see the wording on the navigation screen when driving.
