That's the guy in California that has stuff on eBay all the time. He is out of sight on everything he has listed, but, must sell it as his stuff is not on eBay all that long. I do not know how he does it?

The description is mostly accurate except (1) no Micromatic in 1956, and (2) looks like he replaced the paper/wax cap with Mylar, not ceramic, and he left a "bumblebee" cap in place, ready to explode. And yeah, the price is way high. But I'm always surprised by how unsophisticated most people are about how things work and how to fix them, so for the ignorant, buying a ready-to-play device might make sense even at a high price.

Like I said, he seems to sell them, and he always has record players for sale.

He's also known as "Mr. Legs" 'cause he often adds goofy looking legs to many of his restores.
Ever notice that his username is often changed? Gee, I wonder why.
And how about those ugly paint jobs he does on some of his items..gah!

He must be doing something right, and there must be a market for what he sells in California. Not the case here in Michigan.
