The famous Janie Wood, star of Channel 4. She and Herb Isaacs (Happy Herb) played cartoons at various times. I was never a huge Janie fan, but I faithfully watched Popeye and Janie every evening I could at 4pm. Herb Issacs and Chuck Marlow called the IU and Butler University ball games broadcast on Channel 4.

I Remember Popeye And Janie as well. I remember she and Herb selling Chesty potato chips and cheez curls, Marhoefer weiners and Aunt Jane's pickles.

I remember Chesty "The Food It's Fun To Eat" potato chips. I had forgotten about Marhoefer. Stark and Wetzel sponsored some of the programs on Channel 4 and on WIBC.

She was Janie Wood when I was a kid. The video gives yet another name. She must have married/remarried sometime in the interim and is using both names. Wonder if she is still with us?
