Old TV Ads

This was offered up on YouTube. Plenty of RCA and Philco advertising. There is an ultra long winded corporate film in it that can be bounced through.

I don't think I have ever seen a Philco Predicta Tandem set before. Given Predicta's known questionable reliability, that one may have been the only one that ever worked. The RCA remote set was interesting as well. Who was the lady advertising the Westinghouse set? I didn't catch here name. The wife guessed Gail Storm....

It was Betty Furness. She did the commercials on these programs...

She was the one who couldn't open the refrigerator. I think that was considered the first blooper.

Betty Furness. It's been a long time since I had heard of her. Interesting video, Rex. Thanks for sharing.
