Magnavox Amp Stamp Locations ?

[Hi-Fi-Mogul]

Hello all,

I'm trying to assist a newbie online with a Magnavox, ca. 1959, and
his photo of the chassis does not reveal a stamped #.

Where do the larger Maggie amps generally have the stamp located ?

Photos of amps will help if you would post some.

There is no specified location for where Magnavox stamped model numbers on chassis. It could be almost anywhere there is a flat surface large enough for the stamp. The good news is, the numbers are large and easy to spot. The newbie you are working with would be more than welcome to join our forum.....

That's about what I thought re: locations.

HIs chassis is fairly dirty, so I will ask him to
use an old soft paint duster to try and whisk
off some dirt.

It may be hidden there.
