Surprised it took so long to say a fond Jamaican Farewell to Harry...

Still my favorite live recording is his Carnegie Hall concert... wish I had been there...

I heard he was 97. There was a special on last night celebrating Carol Burnette's 90th birthday. Vicki Lawrence is 74, Julie Andrews is 87. Dick Van Dyke is 95 at least. We are all getting old, guys..... :oops: ;) :shock:

The NYT had a couple nice pieces on him. I had forgotten the extended cameo in the movie BlacKkKlansman. He remained committed to fairness and equality into his very old age. A good model for us old folks.... The movie, by the way, is very good and has a strong performance by Adam Driver, one of my favorites.
