I heard he was 97. There was a special on last night celebrating Carol Burnette's 90th birthday. Vicki Lawrence is 74, Julie Andrews is 87. Dick Van Dyke is 95 at least. We are all getting old, guys.....

The NYT had a couple nice pieces on him. I had forgotten the extended cameo in the movie BlacKkKlansman. He remained committed to fairness and equality into his very old age. A good model for us old folks.... The movie, by the way, is very good and has a strong performance by Adam Driver, one of my favorites.
