Dark Moon

Post: # 9930Post electra225 »

Chris mentioned he liked Dark Moon. Here are a couple other arrangements of Dark Moon you might enjoy.

The Jim Reeves cover of Dark Moon, recorded in 1963. Featuring Floyd Cramer on his vox. Minimal instrumentation, Anita Kerr singers. This recording was remastered in the late 1970's with more instrumentation.

Another oldie, but a goodie. Gale Storm's version.....

I found this artist on a search of Dark Moon. Daniel Rae Costello, never heard of him, not a bad version.....

And, last, but not least, the Billy Vaughn version. His original cover of Dark Moon, circa 1959

All of 'em pretty good..... One measure of music is how well it holds up when covered by others. Current pop performers mostly fail in that regard.
