Nice Ca. 1950's FaceCrook Listed Maggie Mono ? Console
This gal is a long 3 hours away, and too big for my car.
But, she really looks nice.
Does anyone know the model/year/amp chassis, and does the rear
speaker/parts look original ?
Price is 150, and who knows, maybe negotiable ?

It sure looks to me like it might not be all there. Where is the amp?

I was wondering that. Two possibilities. One, the amp is integrated into the tuner/preamp chassis. Two, the guitar-amp crowd got to it first and is trying to recover the purchase price by selling off the remains. My Magnasonic has a big amp down on the bottom.

I believe you may have hit the nail on the head with your comment about the guitar amp crowd. Methinks somebody parted it out, now wants to score on the remains.

Looks to me to be about 1956? I like that grille cloth. Shame to gut this, they're crazy if they think 150 is a reasonable selling price, it's worth more like 20- 30 bucks as a parts unit, a pity.
The guitar junkies think everything is an amp for that purpose, I wish they'd go away in one hand, on the other hand the majority of audio tubes are still in production only because of the demand for that use. Charlie K. of VTV estimated that as much as 80% of world production was for the guitar market.
