yet another Uncle find

Well besides the little Westinghouse console missing it's small SE receiver unit (still looking for that one!) that I found in his attic, in a rented storage garage I found something different today. Perhaps we can consider it a small table console from 1932? An RCA Superette R-7 radio I had no idea that he had. Not normally my thing but looks complete and in decent and undisturbed condition. Uses 2 x 245 (ie. 45) tubes for output and has a good sized field coil (electrodynamic) speaker that looks intact. This was probably a pretty good radio in it's day. I'm guessing early '30s. I'm not really a vintage radio guy, but maybe someone here would know? Might be a fun project.

Pretty sure it is 1930, I had a GE floor model with the same chassis layout , I think these were before RCA and Westinghouse spun off from General Electric ?

I thought I read somewhere that RCA started building their own radios in 1932. Don't quote me on that, though. And it was also my understanding that Westinghouse built the radios for RCA and GE until the early 1930's. That radio should be a robust performer with P-P 45 output tubes. Well worth restoring and enjoying. Good luck. Don't forget to share your project with the rest of us if you decide to go thru it.
