This album was ultra hot when it came out in 1978. This song was played on every radio station on the planet, regardless of genre. Every time I'd go to an auction where there was a record collection for sale, this album was typically included. Debby Boone might have been a bigger artist after this album had she had better material. I got this album from my MIL for Christmas in 1978. I used to really like it, but, for some reason, now it just sounds old.

Debby Boone is 65. Now I feel old.

She is sort of the personification of the One Hit Wonder, nice voice but guess she never got a song like that again.
Dad Pat was a good middle of the road talent, now his claim to fame is being featured in the walk-in tub ads in our local paper!
PS I just checked - Pat is 87!
