During late September, I had the house painted. That made quite an improvement. I had to remove the insulation film from the windows to open the double hung windows for painting as well. They painted them well. The first part of October, I had to cut the dried paint on the windows that were gluing them shut. I have 2 or 3 frosting knives in the garage that work great for that purpose. I got them freed up, then re applied the window film. I finished things up by putting up a video doorbell for the front door. I found a "European style" rollator on the Clark Howard newsletter, that is made from tubular aluminum, weighs 13 pounds and fits neatly into the rear cab of the Ranger. I tested it out at the polls this afternoon.

It's a rolling support for walking. It also has a seat to rest while out and about.

When I had my sciatic misery, the only way I could walk with a normal gait was at the grocery store, leaning over on the cart.
