Do you have the model number of the instrument and/or the model number for the changer you need? This might narrow down the search.

The console itself is a model VLT62W the changer can be either the RP223 or the IC RP226 the schematic shows the changer with the IC on the cartridge , the unit itself claims to be a 150 watts peak...

Is a changer like the one in my VLT-51 what you need? I think its an RP223 but cartridge is not the IC version.

the IC version is just a stacked preamp... probably could sub in a 8 pin op amp to do the same job , seems to me a higher output cart would also make up the difference ... or I could always make one out of the same CA 3020 chip that RCA used and put it in line...

anything that mounts from the top is fine with me.. the changer like in your original picture would work , I just want to avoid cutting up the plinth if I can :)

Sure PM me with your address.

I can pack it up to ship USPS, once I see what both of them need. Obviously, you may want to upgrade the cartridge and possibly rubber parts. the Idler wheels seem equally iffy.

I finally found a RCA changer ... had to buy the whole console to get it, not sure what the model was , but it has to be from 67 or 68 it was a theater set but the TV is long gone ... it still has the speakers on both sides including the 15x8 woofers , also has the am/fm radio head.. if anyone is looking for those type of parts...
