Another one of my favorite artists. I don't have everything she recorded, but I have a lot of it. "Redneck Woman" her first hit, is one of her best. Ms. Wilson is basically the female equivalent of David Allen Coe. Writes much of her own material. Edgy, right on the edge of decency in many cases. Very hard-core country. If you are not an avid country music fan, you won't appreciate her material. "Here For The Party" is probably my favorite album of hers. Her personal life has had its ups and downs. She got burnt out from 12 years of touring, so she took some time off and has reduced her schedule considerably. Now 52 years old, I think she has lost her edge, she's mellowed.
