Friend helped me track this down. One of the good ones. 2 channel stereo from 1959. Sounds fantastic after the recap recap only the phono restoration remains

Essentially the same setup as the 93-series Magnavox chassis. Motorola was wise to continue with the 12AX7 audio tubes rather than the 6EU7's Magnavox used. The iron they used in output transformers looks larger than Magnavox. Good luck with the changer restoration. That looks like a keeper... ;) ;)

Due to the size of the output transformers, the 12Ax7 stage on the pre amp and the front facing woofers it runs circles around Magnavox 9300 series, it actually displaced a stereo Rama with amp 175 and 15"s. SK13 has More bass and power.

Nice find! I'm noticing the vents on the outer edges of each woofer's mounting board, and the 4 patched-over holes on the bottom of the cabinet. I wonder if all those openings are the result of factory experimentation with bass response?

Thanks, the 4 holes on the bottom are for the legs when it ships from the factory with them inside the cabinet

Ah, yes, I see it now! They probably just used the record bucket in my SK-111 for that purpose...

Ok, Brett, and I am sure you told us before but the photo of the three units. The left is a Motorola, the center looks VM, but I am not sure what the blonde one is???

Thanks,

I'm guessing Columbia? Or Bell & Howell? Both are in the category of WAG.
