There are currently over 1600 "guests" on the forum as I type this. Earlier this afternoon, we had over 2600. That is almost 100 times the normal traffic on this forum. Bill has mentioned that he has noticed higher than normal traffic as well. The intention of all this traffic is to overload the server. The motivation for such activity still eludes my understanding. Bill and I are on this, monitoring the forum in case bad actors try to post and cause trouble. So far, we have been lucky. Mark is monitoring the server. If you guys notice anything out of the ordinary that we may miss, please let Bill or me know. Thank for your participation on the forum......

As I type this, it says that I and one "guest" are online. Good work at chasing them away. I understand the internet entrepreneurs who are trying the sell me car warranties, health cures, male enhancements, gutter guards, and replacement windows--there's always a customer base of the gullible. But just trying to bollix up the server: I don't see the motive or the fun in that.
