It's raining....
Rain is a big deal out here in the desert. We are currently experiencing the most rain we have had at one time since probably 2020. The rain is hitting the window in the den like it was hail. We got a wall of dust before the rain, so it rained mud for a time. They are predicting a heavier-than-normal monsoon activity this summer. The temps have been warm, but they don't stay killer hot for very long. It sure is nice to see the rain....

Re: It's raining....
Typical summer steaming 85-95 here - quite humid with dewpoints in 70s and daily rains in localized areas.
No talk of drought common when corn isn't high enough, obvious in my location
but localized flooding as ground is saturated.
Then both AC units run alternately to keep wife cool and limit RH inside at 50%, radio reception is much poorer than during cold clear.

Glad to see that you're getting some rain Greg. Most of the time we get either too much rain at one time or none at all.

Re: It's raining....
I got a half inch here, which is a lot of rain for this part of the country. It's fairly humid here, 92 degrees which is really cool for this time of year. It sure was good to get a shower.....
