What do you miss from the old site if anything?

The place to talk about almost anything, as long as it's nice......

One thing I really enjoyed from the old site was being able to download and look at the dealer brochures for the different models and years ... I miss that ...

It was nice to see the resources like schematics and service information. I uploaded what I thought were helpful files if only for the more common models.

To be honest, I don't remember much about the "old" site - anymore. I do remember it being filled with a lot of great information, schematics and advice. Unfortunately a year plus of issues, one tends to lose track of what was on there. Hopefully we will build Classic HiFi Care to that point in short order. I am a little surprised that more of the old group haven't crossed over yet. I didn't know that many on there, but I do know there was much information transferred. I wished the galleries could have been saved.

I am happy to be here!

The old site was only up and functional a year or so as i was getting into the magnavox's so if i wanted to find something out i could look it up there. but i didn't know what i needed to look up! I am hoping i can keep learning about these consoles from you guys. They did have a ton of photo's since it seemed every photo that was posted went onto the library. But if i remember it was all chronological time wise so it was impossible to look up a specific image. I would just scroll through them. If we do a system it should be required to enter a description and then maybe a sorting system . Like say you post a balance pot schematic for a amp 175 you could search for "balance pot" or Amp 175 and search for it better. Could be a complicated but desirable feature.
