Big fan of this one. 4x6BQ5 amp. Possibly my best sounding unit.

Agreed, it is a good looking stereo and I like the tuner on one side and the preamp on the other. It reminds me of a couple of RCAs that I have. Do you have any photos of the back side with the back off you could share? Best sounding, even better than the Declaration?

Not sure. 1960 may be too early. I have a very low opinion of terrestrial radio. I've never turned the AM/FM section on.

I can get some. I think the SK28's Jensen woofer has thicker, more buttery bass than the golden voice woofer on the SKR155W Drexel

Is this unit curved in the front?

Bowfront, yes. To me, Motorola was the king of the console. Very Powerful, stylish and well built units.
