I'm not sure this is worthy of including in the Getting Started board. The guy has really steady hands, a good solder-er. I'm not sure my hands are steady enough, nor my eyesight good enough for this procedure, but I thought somebody might find it interesting.

I stumbled upon this a while ago but thought, I do not think so, and forgot about it until just now. Thank you, Greg, maybe someone on the forum will have knowledge about parts.

I didn't see the guy put in any new parts. He just fixed the old parts. Or am I missing something?

No that's correct, he just fixed the old one. The unit he is working on is kind of a bottom of the line unit, maybe not worth new parts. I was thinking along the lines of a ceramic cartridge that we might want to overhaul in one of our good consoles.
