I had no idea this lady existed until I heard this song on Western Red's show. Apparently, she was discovered by Charlie Dick, Patsy Cline's widowed husband. Jamie and Charlie were married in 1965 and divorced in 1972. They had a son, Chip from their union. It is uncanny how much Jamie's voice is like Patsy Cline. She never really made it in country music and toured with Del Reeves for awhile.

Jamey's voice does have an uncanny similarity to Patsy's voice.

And in some of those photo's a likeness of Patsy, also.

Quite the Texas lady.

Thanks for the post, Greg.

I have no idea why I haven't heard of this artist. I like trivia and enjoy finding the more obscure country music artists. This young lady should have gone farther in the genre than she apparently did. I'd like to find more of her material.
