Bobby Fuller Four

[Hi-Fi-Mogul]

I was playing a Rhino Records BF4 compilation album on the Arvin,
testing out the stereo.

West Texas and the Panhandle has such a history of great rockers,
and this album brought back a lot of my musing on how
we lost a lot of those guys.

I found this very cool 1964 demo of "I Fought the Law", and gosh,
I wish I had an original copy of it.

This version has some very gutsy Texas riffs by Bobby, and I think
I may prefer it to the released version.
You have to listen a bit closely to really sense the
playing flow. Effortless.

R.I.P. Bobby, Oct. 22, 1942- July 18, 1966.
His death (murder) still a mystery.
