I get periodic Emails from Guns.com and they are offering law enforcement trade in Sig Sauer .40 cal pistols at a decent price. You would need to go through a local registered firearm dealer to purchase and transfer the firearm and be legally capable of owning one. There are no online sales of firearms to non federal firearm license holders.

Thanks, Rex. Did you go for it? What do you think of the "JUDGE"?

Re: Sig Sauer 229
I think the Judge is a good idea for a defensive weapon. I think the kick would be a bit strong for women or the elderly, though. My budget is a bit tight for the sig right now, but with the accessory rail, it is a pistol that could work for me.

When the time is right, you will be able to get it. I have had more things than I can count fall my way when the time was right, and always when I least expect it.
