Buick tales
Rabbit hole warning: YouTube suckered me into spending an hour watching this guy start a '68 LeSabre that had been sitting outdoors for 24 years (sunk onto the ground) and drive it 600 miles home, SD to MN. He made it.... Knowing the many here who love great big old Buicks, I'll post a link:

Yeah, I watched it in part because he was entertaining and in part because I wanted to see if the car made it home.

Re: Buick tales
He must have decided that a 600 mile road trip in the freezing cold, with no heat, was enough cold winter weather. I really liked that old Buick he saved. Reminds me of my parents 68 Wildcat. Buy the way, 1968 Buicks were notorious for heating. If you noticed there was no fan shroud to help pull in air from the whole radiator. If my parents Wildcat had to sit idling for any length of time the HOT light came on. It would even come on in the summer going down the road.

I've been watching him for a couple of years, pretty droll guy. That '68 LeS was a favorite, and he did a really rusty '63 LeS too.
He's from the Dakotas and still has a place there but had been in Minnesota until last summer when he moved to TN (one wonders why, perhaps better access to better junkers?). He has a really sweet shop now, so it must be making him a nice living. He does a lot of crazy stuff "I'll do the right thing and just ignore that" (a leaking brake cylinder). Better him than me driving those heaps home!
