I may be able to pick up this nice blonde for $50 or
less.
If anyone knows, please provide the model and what the amp/receiver is.
It appears to be a mid 1950's model, looking at the
Collaro changer model.
Thanks !

Looks like my '56 Magnasonic, but blonde and with the tuner option. AMP-128 A or B. It's a big 4x6V6, parallel P-P amp with a large OPT, and 2-12 speakers with 2-4" cone tweeters mounted coaxially.

Re: What is this Model Maggie ?
I found this information in the 1959 Magnavox brochure. I think this is in Downloads, on this forum, but this came from my computer hard drive. Looks really close to the following:
Model 1-SA298F AM-FM radio and phonograph, "Magnasonic Special" with two 12" speakers and two four inch, plus the S-33 four speaker companion speaker with storage for 150 records. The brochure was not clear whether the S-33 speaker was part of a two-piece outfit or whether it was an option. Hopefully both parts were on casters. 150 records would be pretty heavy......
Is the main cabinet mono and you need the S-33 to make it stereo?

Knowing what little I know, is the pictured instrument missing its external speaker?

Re: What is this Model Maggie ?
So I found a video of a 1956 Magnasonic 420 sans the receiver.
And I found the page in the 1956 catalog.
Screen photos from video.
It looks to be a 420 with the optional AM/FM receiver that
Chris mentioned.
With 4 PP 6V6 outputs, it should rock the floorboards !

The one I posted was the newer stereo version. Apparently, the Magnasonic series lasted several years...
