Zenith - 1957 Phono console

Post: # 20689Post Motorola minion »

Model HF772, p-p 6V6 with two 12" speakers and electrostatic tweeters. Not a cobramatic but a V-M built model seen in many other phonographs but customized for Zenith. Biggest surprise was no FM band!

At first I thought it was a Canadian model.

This one has more modifications than the last Zenith I posted. Three pots added in record well were probably used to mix the stereo output to the amplifier chassis that was added. The custom nameplate has a Teutonic message of caution. :P

That sign was hanging over the VTRs in the AV department at my high school back in the 1970s. I got a big kick out of it.

I looked "blinkenlights" up and this was a rough translation of German hackers warning among other things..
