EIA Codes.

Have a part, have a speaker, etc. with a mysterious code stamped on it? Figure out who really made it....

1961 list:

https://www.ecianow.org/assets/docs/EIA ... es1961.pdf

1994 list:

https://www.ecianow.org/assets/docs/EIA ... 0Codes.pdf

The 1994 .pdf document is searchable. Hold down your "CNTRL" key on the keyboard and press "F". A search box will appear in the upper right hand side of the screen. Type in the number you are looking for.

For example, type in "235" in the search box and hit "enter". The entry will be highlighted. It will direct you to North American Capacitor Company (aka Mallory).

Have fun.

Bill,

What usually starts as a simple google search usually ends up with me going down the rabbit hole of different search results and sites!
