Classic Hifi Care

Now, I've got a Victor RE-45, made just before RCA acquired Victor, and using a magnetic pickup, but here's an even earlier RCA console. Looks like a Radiola 17 radio chassis, and the pickup looks like it's acoustic--mated to a microphone for playback through the radio's amplifier??
