Troubador Sings Again

Submitted for your perusal is a hand-made little 50-60's
cabinet with hair-pin legs, tranformed into a one of a kind
Magnavox using salvaged Troubador amp, speakers, and changer.
A friend of mine gave me the cabinet, which I think may have
been for a small bar set-up. The left side may have held glasses,
and the right side held bottles.
Dave 1138 and I thought it would make a cool hi-fi.
After I received a truly wrecked Troubador TP237D for parts,
we decided they might be incorporated in this idea.
I first cleaned and detailed the original cabinet.
I completed refurbishing the V-M custom colored 1200 changer.
I pulled the Magnavox Amp 167AA out of the parts donor.
Dave 1138 took it all home and did some carpentry and
mounted the amp and speakers. He added the nice
speaker grille cloth and a pilot light, after re-capping
the amplifier.
He cut some sheet metal and painted it with hammer-tone
paint for the Vol and Tone control mounting.
It sounds really cool, and looks cooler !
I hope to find a good home for it before Santa
arrives.
