Hello all,
I will be receiving this Magnavox 4SC24 2R stereo in
about 1 week.
Does anyone know what amplifier is in it ?
I'd like to pull the schematic prior to it arriving.
Thanks !

Re: Magnavox Portable Stereo Info ?
The Magnavox literature does not list the specific amplifier model. It just says "Stereo Amplifier". Duh.
Your instrument is circa 1962, is 16 3/4" wide, 23 1/4" deep and 9 1/2" wide and cost $99.90 new. It has two 8" speakers, one being detachable from the main cabinet. Sorry I can't help more than that, Mr. Mogul. Probably the best way to identify the amp, unfortunately, is to dig in and note the model number. Magnavox was not very good at listing specifics in their service literature and, especially, not in their sales material. I look forward to pictures of your project and following its progress. I'm making progress on my little project, but it sure seems to be going slow. Good luck.

Thanks for the picture in your post. That confirms my suspicion that Magnavox put a border on the white by extending the dark color into the lid and into the changer compartment.
