Newcomb TR-16A platter

I need a new platter for this record player. I found this one on ebay. Reckon it would work? This one is not identical to the original, but if it will work, I can fix the rest.

**&^%$@!!!! I forgot to hit "submit." Try again. It's all a matter of dimensions--can you get them from the seller? The center spindle size/shape (tapered?) has to fit. The height has to be right, although that can be adjusted. The inside diameter has to be right for speed accuracy unless you can turn a new motor spindle.

By the way, I need a new platter for my 1936 Magnavox Concerto (innards-only find). Some have called this the first high fidelity home phonograph. Mine does not have the original motor/turntable, which was a governor controlled device. Mine looks like Gen. Industries device, 2-pole motor and idler drive with a center spindle that the platter fits over.
