Had a guy stop with a cooler in the bed of his pickup trying to sell steaks and seafood ... claiming it was the best .. we went though this many years ago and learned our lesson ... when I told the guy we were not interested he got pushy trying to say his was top of the line , I told him to give me one to cook and if we like it come back tomorrow and we'll talk ... he just jumped into his truck and squealed his tires out of my driveway... I think he was a little miffed ...

That sounds like a good way to get a food-borne illness.

These folks like "travelers" operate across the country. They always have a spiel about having a load of goods they have to get rid of. They usually offer a false bargain.
