I got many of the good things in life early. Shingles at 27, gallbladder removed at 36, after being misdiagnosed for 4 years because no one that young was supposed to have them.

I had hepatitis A when I was senior in high school. I walked around with it for a year, never really getting sick or turning yellow but being very tired and later getting extremely grumpy. I'm not a complainer so my parents never knew until the grump's set in. Mom got tired of my moods and grumpiness and took me to the doctor. Blood work showed hepatitis A and I got pulled from school and spent the next 6 weeks home resting. I have never been the same since. I get fatigued easily, I really do not have an appetite but eat anyway because I need too, and it's left me with certain blood tests elevated. I get tested for hepatitis B and C and they always come back negative.

Other than a bout with cancer that tried to kill me, I've been lucky. I have the constitution of my dad's side of the family. They did everything known to man to kill themselves, but most lived long lives. ;)
