Impala Bob's Chevy parts
Chris is looking for a couple things for his Chevy. Impala Bob is in Mesa, AZ just up the road from here. He had a good reputation of being THE Chevy parts and restoration guru. I even put some Chevy parts on my Buick. Phone number is 1-800-467-2527. Their website is hard for me to maneuver. Calling may be best. I don't understand why businesses put so much BS on their website rather than just getting down to business. IT might be worth giving them a call. It has been 20 years since I did business with him. I see he has a whiner who posted on his home page about taking too long to get parts. Seems like there is always ONE........

Life can be tough. It can be even tougher if you're stupid.....

Problem is, the people who have good experiences rarely take the time to mention it. The whiners want everybody to know....electra225 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 06, 2022 5:10 pm I see he has a whiner who posted on his home page about taking too long to get parts. Seems like there is always ONE........![]()

And while we're on this subject, step no. 1 is extracting the heater core. The Chevy has a water valve that is the heat control, or at least shuts off the water when you don't ant heat. I'm kinda hoping that there's a rubber connector inside between the valve and the core. The valve was really stiff and I was working it with pliers to loosen it up and if I'm really lucky, there's a simple fix. How often do we get that lucky?
