When I posted my first introduction, I was testing to see if it all worked. So now I need to make a better effort at introducing myself.

My name is Greg. I was a moderator on the other forum and got kicked totally off in March when I bought a new Windows 10 computer. You can read about all that fiasco in "Chat". Most of my working life was spent either driving a truck or working on cars. My last car repair shop was a restoration shop specializing in Buick, with the occasional Packard thrown in. I did a '41 Ford coupe, too, but I don't want anybody to know about that one! My main collection is Magnavox console stereos. I have a 1960 Concert Grand, a 1960 Imperial, a 1962 Stereo Theater, a 1961 Symphony, a 1961 Concerto, and a 1963 Contemporary. Then there are "Don's GE's" a collection of four or five early tube Trimline portable stereos along with a RP-1590, which is a table model stereo with detachable legs, that make it a little consolette. I have a Motorola table portable stereo, I have my mom's old Gilt Edge 78-rpm player she bought at Sears and Roebuck in 1946. I have my little Truetone 4-speed kiddie player I got for Christmas in 1959. I have dad's Newcomb tr-16A that he used to play Cliffie Stone records and call square dances with. I have a collection of console radios, including my grandmother's 1936 Grunow 1191, a miserable performer, that she got for Christmas in 1936. Then there's a mish mash of tape recorders, receivers, amps, things like that. 850 record albums, 300 reels of open reel tape, 1000 cassette tapes, VCR movies, etc. etc. My wife says I'm almost ready to be on "Hoarders".. And then I have my old Buick, a '63 Electra 225 two-door hardtop, all black.
