Spotted a Buick on a trailer in rush hour traffic

Post: # 28815Post Dr. Radio »

So, on my way home from work, a few car lengths ahead of me-- I spot something! Made me think of Greg. Bouncing around on a trailer was the telltale shape of a 1950s automobile. Either blue or turquoise with a white top. I squinted (still had to pay attention to the bumper to bumper traffic) and I spied "S P E C I A L" on the deck lid.

By golly! A Buick Special. Did a google search. My assumption was correct--1958.

It was too far ahead of me to tell if it was "restorable" or what. Did not appear to be "just restored". Someone may have scored with a barn find. I'll probably never know.

Just wanted to share. Ironically, Blue Moon by the Marcels was playing on the radio. :D

Yay for "Blue Moon." And for saved cars.

Thanks for sharing that, Doc! Somebody has a project ahead of them if they are going to restore a '58 Buick. ;)
Life can be tough. It can be even tougher if you're stupid.....
