I rode the bicycle downtown today for an event. 13 deg. when I left, 15 deg. back home, which meant that the roads were either packed snow or ice, ideal for a bicycle with studded tires. While we were parading around, a guy drove past in a right-hand drive Toyota 4Runner.
My '25 Taco SR is my first 4WD vehicle ever. But many years ago, people were amazed at other 4-wheel advances, enough to advertise it like the "4X4" emblem on my truck. Consider this:
Not sure how they figured a boast about 4 should be signaled by a three-sided insignia. Found this on an old fender on a rocky hillside in Canada, where we had pulled the fishing boat over to have lunch on the sunny rocks. The adjacent farmer pitched junk stuff over the edge. The only tools at hand were the rudimentary ones I carry in the tackle box for outboard motor issues. This was pried off with a screwdriver. Note that the lower left corner still has its screw--dissimilar metals = corrosion = stuck.
