Is the bottom part actually the speaker enclosure for the radio sitting on top? It is a beautiful piece of furniture.

Have you seen it Chris? I ran a crossed his ad on Craig's list some time ago, it is probably still there, it was very impressive and a lot of his collection is for sale if anyone is interested.
