The update on the grill is that I helped it, but didn't fix it. I still have one lazy burner. It only lights on one side. The problem moves with the burner. How can a burner be "bad?" One burner works really well, one somewhat well, still low flame in my opinion, the third hardly works and is really hard to light. I tested them by running water from the garden hose thru them. How does one test and troubleshoot a propane grill burner?

Can you swap them around putting them in different places? That would tell you if it is the burner or the amount of pressure the burners are getting. Which burner is close to the regulator? Just a bunch of thoughts that might help.

I swapped the burners all around. The low flame followed the one burner.

Interesting, I wonder what is wrong with that burner, something must be plugged someplace. Does each burner have its own orifice?

Yes. There is a fuel rail where the three burner valves are connected. I can move the one burner to any of the other valves and it still has lower flame than it should. I don't see anything in the way of a blockage. The guy at ACE hardware took it to their lawnmower shop and blew it out with compressed air. I cooked hamburgers for supper about an hour ago and it did fine. I reckon I'll quit worrying about it until it won't give me enough temp to cook like it should.

Are the orifices in the burners or valves?
