I have one of these little amps I use for a bench amp, for testing changers and stuff. I connected this little amp with 1.8 watts per channel to a set of Fisher speakers I have. This little amp has enough power to actually make the big Fisher speakers rattle in their cabinets. I am impressed with this little amp. The tone controls are only a treble control, but other than that, it rocks. Fairly flexible switching for such a small amp. The only thing I don't like about it is that it uses RCA jacks for speaker jacks, very inconvenient.

I've got a similar one up in the attic where I'm sitting right now. Don't have the model no. at hand but it's a flea-powered Radio Shack integrated amp with a magnetic phono input. It was purchased together with a couple of the tiny RS Minimus aluminum-enclosure speakers to improve audio intelligibilty when my parents bought a flat screen TV.

I don't remember where I got this amp. Probably in some junk at an auction. I don't think I'd have bought it "on purpose".....

Re: Realistic (Radio Shack) SA-155 Integrated Stereo Amp
I've been using this amp to tinker with turntables and cartridges. This little amp sounds amazing for what it is. Besides the RCA jacks for the speakers, the only other issue I have is the chintzy tone control. It doesn't have separate bass and treble controls, just a catch-all tone control. You either have all bass and make the audio muddy or you have all treble, making the audio tinny-sounding with stangled bass. I set it about three-quarters of the way toward treble, which seems to be where it sounds the best. I'm using the big Fisher speakers that has lots of treble, so the rig sounds pretty good for what it is. This little amp is small, I can hide it in the other junk on my bench and it is easy to connect to other audio hardware. It makes a lot of noise for only having less than a 2-watt output....
