I think it was the blockiness of the Imp vs the sleek and swoopy body design of the Electra, they were both huge.

I loved that bronze trimmed instrument panel, even more elegant than wood, truly modern luxury.
A local friend here, Perry, has his Dad's '68 Imperial with only 32K original miles. For those of you who get Hemming's Classic Car, it's the gold one from Binghamton that was on their cover about 7-8 years ago. His Dad got it when it was traded in at the Chrysler dealer where Perry was Service Manager, around the late '70s, by an old lady, and it had about 28k at the time. Completely original and nearly perfect car. When Perry's Dad passed I bought his house, and that Imp used to reside in my garage along with a '47 Town & Country.. I wish they still did!!
