1950's AMC Blonde Tabletop

[Hi-Fi-Mogul]

1. The RCA jack is factory soldered onto Pins 1 & 2 of
the phono input plug as you see in the schematic.

2. The record changer has an RCA male end cord wired to
the cartridge tonearm wiring.
That cord goes into the female jack soldered onto
Pins 1 & 2.

See the photo I posted earlier of the amp and controls.

3. Measurements to be done.

The observation I was trying to make was this. The bracket with two holes that has the yellow cord plugged into it in the second picture appears to not be attached to anything in that picture. My point was that if that bracket with the two holes in it was not grounded, if you were running it dangling by the wires for testing purposes, the non-grounded RCA jack on the bracket may be introducing the motorboating. Sorry I didn't make myself more clear.....
