This was just like the one I had with the only exception mine had the 402 receiver. The 602 being the TOTL and more power and features. The guy posting is correct, they sound great and I regret I sold mine when I moved.

Re: Pilot Stereo
Did you forget to post a link, Bill?...
A good leader is someone who can tell you where to go, and make you look forward to the trip.

Re: Pilot Stereo
Yes, I did, sorry, and I cannot find it this morning. I can't believe it sold overnight.
This isn't it but looking for the one I should have posted I found this one:
https://chicago.craigslist.org/nwc/ele/ ... 73453.html
I also found this one which appears to be from the same guy as did the one I forgot to post last night and the one above.

And this:

Re: Pilot Stereo
That Pilot console is a beauty. Don't pop up often.
Amazing how many audio manufacturers there were in NY in the 50s and 60s.

I sure wish I could find the one I forgot to add to my post. I still can't believe it disappeared over night.

Re: Pilot Stereo
Thats very cool Pilot equipment, never see them for sale but the 1960 Fisher Electra is just like one I got from Roger in NY state.
I liked Pilot mainly because of Harmon Kardon, which reminded me of Fisher.
All three had that well-marked chassis in a black lithographic style, with tube types, fuse ratings, etc.
