What do you guys do?

The Motorola stereo I am tinkering with had some of the hardest grease on the changer I have ever run across. What would be nice is to have a two-gallon glass jar with about a gallon of lacquer thinner in it. You could put all the parts in there, let it soak overnight if you wanted to, then just give everything a light brushing and you are done. You could put motor bearings in it. Maybe some of you guys may already have a rigging like that. I still use Q-Tips and brake cleaner. It takes a lot of Q-Tips and I hate the smell of brake cleaner. What kind of setup do you guys use to clean record changer parts?

Greg, I do pretty much what you said, I get glass jars I.E. pickle jars and use lacquer thinner and drop parts in... I also have a special small jar with oil of wintergreen and alcohol in it to soften up idler wheels ... keep a lid on it and it will not evaporate... I have a small ultrasonic cleaner from harbor freight , but it times out in 5 minutes ... I would like a big one that holds a couple gallons and a controlled timer...kinda like what Mustie1 on YT has...
