Homemade stand

Post: # 21779Post hermitcrab »

Ever since I restored the Fisher Allegro , it just sits on the floor in the corner... so once again I was cleaning out my stash of wood scraps in the garage and realized I had enough to build a stand just big enough to hold the allegro , and a fold out drawer to store some albums ... still making a false drawer to go above the fold out door , I am trying out an exterior stain that comes in a spray can the color shows in the picture of what it should look like when finished ... it is ugly as I did not put too much effort into it , but at least the stereo will be off the floor ...

I'd say you did a fine job, Elton! It should do the job nicely.... :D

That's about the size I need for one of my tabletop/portable stereos. Nice job, Elton.

You must have a nice collection of woodworking tools. There is some nice work there, even if it is "spur-of-the-moment", utilizing scrap material. Sometimes, that is when you get the best stuff. Nice job!.... :D
