1968 Dodge Super Bee "flipper" car

Post: # 15937Post electra225 »

I enjoy this guy's videos. Okay, so he is a Chrysler man. But his thinking and mine are about the same. I did Buick much like he does the Mopars. And "flipper cars" or, as I liked to call them, "auction whores" are the bane of the classic car hobby. Some poor schmuck pays the big money for the "sizzle, but no steak" as Uncle Tony likes to say. Then he gets laughed off the show field at best, or gets himself hurt driving an unsafe car at worst. This video reminds me of the '48 Roadmaster convertible I had to redo after a man who should know better paid a huge price for it because his wife liked the color. The whole bottom half of the body on the Roadmaster was cardboard and bondo. I suspect this Super Bee clone may have a similar issue in spots. This is really a horrible car in almost ever detail. But to say something nice, the incorrect engine is well-detailed...... ;)
