Silvertone radio update: It still is not working correctly, and now, which might finally make it easier to find, the noise is so bad that I can no longer hear any stations. Flexing the PC board will/does make the noise change so now I am leaning back towards the PC/solder joints being the problem. F...

That is an incredible find and the price is not bad either. I am with you, Danny, I believe it does have the horn which makes it worth that kind of money. How far is that from you? I hope someone picks it up, I would hate to see it end up in the landfill.

It looks naked without any of the components attached. I need to order a socket for the rectifier tube on my Maggie Symphony. If you push the tube all the way down into the socket it won't work. Pull up on it just a bit and everything plays fine. Have fun and thank you for sharing your progress. Bill
