Does it hum on all functions?... could be a flaky ground ... flip the power cord outlet plug , and see if that helps... Finally tried the plug trick - no improvement. I was able to identify the cabinet through on of the FB console groups I joined. Sorry for the poor quality pic but it's all I have....

Bill, thanks for the “secret” that I was completely missing . Never thought to take a closer look at the lid; I do have a New Vista.
